Legend of a Strongest Man: Nakane Chapter 3: Out of Place
Well, we got this one out faster than the last one! We did have to put out a V2 of the previous chapter, as we originally misread Takashi's name as Nakashi, but we're getting kinda good at this! Hopefully Nakane's getting kinda good at Instagram too! The Hox translation of Legend of a Strongest Man Kurosawa has some issues, but if you're reading our scanlations of Nakane, you've probably read those scans of Kurosawa. We definitely keep them in mind when translating Nakane, since the series loves to play with lines from the original and we want readers to be able to notice the callbacks. But occasionally it doesn't work, and when it doesn't, we're going to favour the quality of this series over making exact callbacks to the old scans. Nakane's monologue in the middle of this chapter about what he really wants to Instagram is a direct parody of Kurosawa's first monologue about what he really wants to cheer on.
